###### Introducing

## What is the Stewardship Table?

The Stewardship Table is a small, private group of senior leaders who meet online twice a month to solve real business problems together. It's led by Charlene Norman, a former CEO, and Deborah Borys, a psychologist.

### **Who It's For**

Founders, executives, and senior sustainability leaders who want to do good in the world and still run a strong business.

### **What Happens**

One meeting a month works on the problems members bring. The second goes deeper, so the ideas stick, and you can use them.

### **Why the Name**

A steward cares for something bigger than themselves. At this table, when one leader solves a problem, everyone learns from it.

## Does this sound like you?

What used to work doesn't anymore. Everything takes more effort than it should. Business relationships with customers and vendors are now shakier.  Employees prefer to follow their own rules, not yours. You've bought the courses, hired the consultants, and chased the next idea. Some of it helped a little. None of it lived up to the promise. And then AI arrived.

Simultaneously,

The world got crazier. You can see the foundations crumbling all around you. Business. Climate. Leadership.

You know in your bones, it all must be done differently. You still believe in yourself, and in the work you're doing. You simply want a better way forward, a different way forward.  One that doesn't drain you, and that builds a future that's more sustainable and hopefully just as profitable.  There IS a different way.

## The Stewardship Table

## What this is NOT

### **Not a feelings circle**

No one sits around talking about feelings. Every session is about ideas you can use in your business and your leadership. Including harnessing your own emotions and dealing constructively with those of your team.

### **Not a networking group**

No one in the room is selling to you. We encourage you to connect with each other after the meeting as much as you like. After all, we are business people.  During the meeting, the work comes first.

## What this IS

A vibrant community of action-takers curious about considering, experimenting and then doing things differently while keeping their personal reputations intact. A former CEO and a psychologist specializing in climate and poly-crisis issues run it. And it's built specifically for people who run things. Every session is about solving real problems, finding solutions, and seeing things from angles you'd miss on your own.

## How it works

### When

1st and 3rd Thursday, 90 minutes to 2 hours. The specific days and times will be confirmed by cohort.

### Start

December 3rd, 2026, on Zoom. The official time will be chosen by the cohort.

### Group Size

Limited to 20 participants.

- ### First meeting each month

Is about those tougher business issues

Before each business session, we ask every member what's on their plate. We choose the most common problem (or problems) and work on them together. The room goes deep instead of wide.
- ### Second meeting each month

  Is about going deeper

We use proven tools from psychology and neuroscience, adapted for business, to help the solutions stick and to help you deal with what's getting in your way.

# There are no recordings.

What is said in the room stays in the room.

This lets you speak honestly and test ideas in private before you make them public.

Handouts of the key items discussed are provided afterwards.

## What You'll Walk Away With

### From November 16th

For just the introductory session

- **Confirmation of a slice of your operating system.**  Not what you do or how you do it. Why you do it. Once you can name it, decisions get easier, and your messages get clearer.
- **Why some people seem to tune you out.**  There are at least nine different ways people take in information. You'll start to see them in your team, your colleagues, and at home.
- **How to maximize your presence and influence.**  Even and especially in some of the toughest situations you deal with.
- **Weaknesses do not exist.**  Modulation always trumps fixes.

### Beginning December 3rd

For members

- **Your real problems, worked on together.** Twice a month, the group takes on the issues members share. You leave with ideas and options you can use.
- **Meetings people want to be in.** See in real time how to run meetings that put people first and get them on board.
- **Better conversations.** Proven tools for talking with your team and colleagues that most business toolkits miss.
- **Room to think.** Time to step back, question what you think you know, and look at your work from angles you haven't tried. Sometimes the answer isn't pushing harder. It's seeing differently.
- **A way out of burnout.** What workaholism is, how it leads to burnout, and how to climb out.
- **Thinking traps that make stress worse.** And how to catch them and let them go.
- **How to lead when you or your team is hurting.** Low morale, betrayal, a key person suddenly out. There are better ways than soldiering on.
- **Practice time.** Try every tool in the room, then take it home with everything you need to run it yourself.
- **A room of trusted peers.** People with similar goals, working on real problems with you, twice a month.

## Questions

- ### What happens at the free session?

It's a taste of how we work. You'll leave with a clearer sense of your why, why some people tune you out, and how to strengthen your presence and influence. Then decide if The Stewardship Table is right for you.
- ### How big is the group?

No more than 20. Before each business session, we gather everyone's problems, and the group works on the most shared ones, so no one's time is wasted.
- ### Can my company pay?

Yes. We issue receipts in your company's name.  Just specify.
- ### What if I miss a session?

You miss it. There are no recordings or replays, and sessions aren't made up.  We set the time together, then hold to it, so you can plan around it.
- ### Can I switch to the annual founding rate later?

No. The annual $3,000 locked rate is only for founding members who commit to 12 months when they join by December 30th.
- ### How do I know this is for me?

You're a senior leader, CEO, founder, entrepreneur, or senior sustainability leader who wants to lead differently, make a bigger impact and/or leave the world in better shape than you found it.
- ### Can I promote my business in the group?

No. You're welcome to connect with members after sessions. Inside the room, we focus on the work.
